Photo #10

In this photo, I was playing around with my own shadow to see what kind of interesting space I might be able to create. I really like how this photo creates some ambiguous space because of the few shape and colors that are available to help the viewer discern where it might be. My shadow is actually cast at an angle on the ground in front of my house, but in the photo it looks like it could be on a wall looking straight on at me.

  1. Although similar to Lindsey's, this picture stands out in different ways. By shooting this shadow shot in color, it gives it a much more grungy feel. Where I saw film noir with Lindsey's, this is screaming with horror. Very nicely done!

  2. This is a really cool example of ambiguous space, and I think that shadows in general make for very interesting subjects. Nice work!

  3. I want this shot to be replicated in your chase/horror film. I love the green tinge, but I love even more the undefined lines of the shadow. It looks like a double exposure because of the multiple light sources.
